Back in LA after a month of working and traveling abroad and realizing how pale I am. Haha. OMG The East Coast and dark Copenhagen deprived my skin of any color whatsoever. So later today I’m thinking: tank top, daisy dukes, sandals and a walk to get little bit of sunlight on my body again. Talking of skin and beauty I would like to share this website with you that I came across a while back through a friend of mine who recommended it: Thesurgeryinsider.com I’m usually not big on
Up in the air on the way home to my base Los Angeles. It feels good to be heading home after more than a month of working and traveling abroad. While in The City that never sleeps I shot a couple of pics of my friend up and coming actress and voice over artist Giada Hansen. She is Danish-born just like me, but also half Sicilian. Yes, the dark locks and jade eyes do not lie. I’m not sure if they already found the Lisbeth Selander for the US version
Tonight is the last night in NYC. Tomorrow I’m off to the west coast again: My base of Los Angeles, and I’m reminiscing on the last days of snow and ice on this altitude. At least for now. I will most likely be back for work during fashion week in February. NYC has been amazing as usual. Meetings, good times, shopping and energy. Copenhagen was relaxation, catching up with family, foods and sleep 😉 … In a minute I’m off to a dinner and later a birthday party. Packing? Haha!
The last days in Copenhagen flew like the wind. I wrapped the film with Juan Hein and Janus Bakrawi, said my goodbyes to my lovely family and hopped on the flight to NYC where I have spent the last 4 days now. As usual, the NYC energy is massive. After the romantic, dark and slow days in my hometown, arriving in NYC again is like taking a large hit off pure adrenalin. Boom! Welcome to 2011 blondie! You are now back in the game. And do I love it? Hell
Just got back from today/tonight’s film shoot in Copenhagen and sharing a couple of shots. More to come ;-)… Actor Janus Bakrawi & I beat up Attack is the best defense… Sometimes…! DP Martin, Director Juan Hein & I # 1. The make-up? Oh nothing. Just an everyday lipstick look 😉 DP Martin, Director Juan Hein & I # 2. (PS – I heard the ‘clown mouth’ is the new black)
Here we are – again – in the midst of a Scandinavian blizzard….. I just got home from a meeting in Odense, Denmark. It took forever getting anywhere because of the snow. Seriously! I know I loved the white landscape when I first got here. But now I’m so over it. Period! Now, after dinner with my family, and with a cup of white hibiscus tea in hand, I’m slowly prepping for tomorrow: a visit to the dentist in the AM and my shoot with fabulous director Juan Hein and
Check it out! I’m featured in the Top Resort-Wear story on Foxnews with a picture from when I shot campaign for Romp London in Beverly Hills in December.
New Years Eve has never been my cup of tea. Everybody is always setting their expectations higher than the moon. Like they think something magical Pandora-on Earth-Avatar-beautiful-blue-people-ish is going to happen to them and then they get upset when it doesn’t happen. Why??? It’s just another night. Duh! Yes, it’s true that it’s a new year. And yes it’s true that it is a good idea to reflect upon what happened in the last year and where you would like to end up in the new year. But I do
Getting ready for NYE 2010/2011 is not for the faint hearted, nor the sloppy crowd. Not that I’m too interested in the actual party nor the venue. No-no. But I’m very, very interested in the company, the food, the wine, the music and atmosphere. Be it in LA, NYC, Bangkok, Munich on an airplane headed somewhere exotic or in my hometown Copenhagen. What matters to me is that I’m surrounded by friends and family. This year I’m so lucky that we had time to do a ‘pre NYE’ in my
