Black & White

Just got back from a fabulous dinner with friends and as I was preparing for bed I got into an email conversation online with an Italian photographer about black & white photography. We both agree that Fellini’s cinematography is very inspiring in this context and that our next shoot is going to be a night shoot. And if not in a fountain then in a pool. Yes, very Anita Eckberg in the Fontana di Trevi. But we all know I do not have Anita’s ‘attributes’ and we ain’t in Rome.

Just about to leave the house. Have a meeting and then finally something fun and social  – a dinner with the girls at Cecconi’s in Beverly Hills. After days and nights in human celibacy locked up with my lab top and my own spinning mind it feels almost scary yet exciting to go out and mingle among ‘the masses’. Happy Mother’s Day people! Today my two great grandmothers would have had their birthdays were they still with us. A thought that takes me back to the days where the whole family would travel from all over the World to celebrate the oldest person in the family. I’m so excited to have finished all my paper work, almost done with my book, I did my laundry, vacuumed my apartment, went to the gym, had a lunch meeting with a new exciting magazine, prepping for my upcoming movie, wherein I have to excel in speaking French oui-oui!
