Sunday Funday has a different meaning depending on what part of the world you are visiting. In Paris you read the paper, have café au lait avec croissants and later stroll through the markets and boutiques of Le Marais. In NYC it’s brunch matched with Mojitos and perhaps a few more drinks and sliders on the roof top of Soho House. In Hollywood it means dressing up in neon colors and attending the XIV Summer Sessions where everybody has to swear to the motto: ”Save water, Spray champagne!”. Nikki Beach
July 4th came and went. It is Independence day in The US, a big holiday, and a lot of Americans take the opportunity to slow down on their work schedule to either visit family out of state or stay put and chill under the sun with friends. I was working on the 4th and too tired to go out after many days of shooting. I didn’t see the fireworks as I was too lazy to get my butt up on the roof top, but I heard them while I was
”Beaaauuutiful! One more shot Kristina!” so I did it again and again and again. Swimming, diving, trying my best to look elegant, like a native sea creature under water for today’s shoot. I won’t kid you; that shit is demanding and not at all like working on dry land so to speak. Water floats right up into your sinuses and your eyes dry out like nobody’s business. Sunday July 1st marks a special day for me. Today is exactly 4 years ago since I said my final goodbyes to the little Williamsburg Apartment in NYC that was my home through out all the years I attended the William Esper Acting Studio. Prior to my new adventure I donated 12 bags of my clothes to Beacon’s Closet (something I have cursed myself for doing many times after) and I gave away pretty much everything I owned except my books, my laptop, my accessories and the clothes and shoes
