After a long day in both Westwood and Hollywood I finished the afternoon and night with an even longer, fun and demanding photo shoot Downtown. Iguanas, snakes, dogs, fire, skulls, airbrush body paint and gorgeous, heavy head pieces were involved. It was an experience to say the least and since I have never worked with reptiles before I was super stoked. My highlight of the night was when the Iguana ‘Bee’ climbed on my shoulder and wrapped herself around my neck. Such a fascinating and beautiful animal! After the shoot
The movie I am shooting in October calls for a pretty bad-ass attitude. She kicks butt, shoots guns and has a mouth like a sailor. So I’ve begun to prep for this character by getting stronger and more ripped. So this Monday I went to a very unusual type of exercise. It is called Areal Silk Rope. Basically it is what the Cirque de Soleil people are doing. Hanging high above the ground in bright red silk ropes doing impossible movements and choreography. I make the short drive down
A little update from West Hollywood where Summer is kicking in hard. Jesus it is hot! I had to store my comforter and only sleep with a sheet for the past weeks. This weekend was both work and play. Saturday I went downtown with my girl Marisa to check out certain designers and we made a day out of it. In the evening I did a hot yoga class and then hit Lexington Social for a drink and a meeting. Change is always good and I haven’t been to Disney Land since I was 14 so I was super excited to re-experience it. And wow! It is still amazing and so are the rides, but
It’s Weekend people and I hope you have made some plans to kick back and enjoy life a bit. I have no idea what the next days or weeks hold for that matter. Planning is not my strongest side. However, I do know I like the colors in these new pictures I just got from the talented photographer Brandon Hicks. We shot them last week here in West Hollywood. Hope you like them too.
