The Age of Innocence

Last night I re-watched this master piece by Martin Scorsese from 1993 and Daniel Day Lewis just reminded me why he is one of my absolute favorite contemporary actors. This epic story about high society in NYC during the 1870’s is so well told it had me in tears most of the time.

End of an Era

The cool thing about Los Angeles is that new, exciting people arrive here every day. It makes the city filled with enthusiasm, hope, talent and energy. The sad thing is that exciting and amazing people leave Los Angeles every day. This week it’s happening to me. My roomie through the last 7 months is leaving Los Angeles and moi. It’s the end of an era and terribly sad. But I guess all good things come to an end and hopefully a lot of new exciting things will happen to both

Dead Mau5

You know those days where you are just exhausted, beat and just feel like staying in your PJs the rest of the day and night and do absolutely nothing? I had a day like that yesterday. Except I was actually making an attempt to do something; writing on a new chapter for my book. I had just had bowl of soup and felt fabulously boring on the VMA weekend in Hollywood sitting in my chair like a blonde dork in front of my laptop. Then Tanya and Natasha made their

Screening in Napa

I did this movie Omar Saved From Cheating last year with Godfrey, Lance Nichols, Haley Marie Norman & Agnese Zeltina. It screens in Napa at the Wine Country Film Festival next week. I play Tracy the ’emotionally unstable aspiring actress’. And yes, it was really a stretch to get into character in case you were wondering haha… 😉   Omar Saved From Cheating Osei Kakari, U S A, 2009, 30 min. Omar’s day starts with an encounter with a typical LA diva who will not give him the time of

NYC Blurbs and…

I’m not going back to NYC for fashion week and it kinda stings… But… then again I have to admit it feels pretty good to lay my hat in one place and know that it stays there for more than a couple of days. I love my bohemian lifestyle. And living in a suitcase is fine, but living in your own home is much better. Oh, and I totally forgot! I got my Mac back yesterday. Yay! I almost kissed the FedEx guy. I was head over heels about it.

Sunday Madness

I used to hate Sundays. The day before Monday. Anticipating the beginning of a week. All stores closed, the city is dead, everybody is tugged away in their houses licking the wounds from Friday and Saturday’s events. Nothing to do, but wait… This was when I still lived in Europe. Then I moved to NYC and everything changed. Sunday became my funday and absolute favorite day to go out on. After acting class I had some free time to enjoy the city. (yes I was in school 7 days a

Goofing around with my G9 while waiting for the taxi to the pool party yesterday. I’ll post more from the party, which was off the hook! Fashion: Louis Vuitton bikini, tunic from the local Anjuna market in Goa, India, vintage jewelry and shades, Object belt on top of my grandmother’s gold cheetah belt, Dolce&Gabanna hotpants, Louis Vuitton handbag and Steve Madden sandals Natscha & I
