Life

Today I walked for designer Shekhar Rahate on Rodeo Drive. I did it not only because his dresses make me feel like a princess on a Sunday, but because it was for the support of Breast Cancer Awareness. As you probably know the month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I got my mammogram done in June. When did you get yours done? I lost a new, but very dear friend to breast cancer only 3 weeks ago. She was only 24. Words are not big enough to describe

Thursday

Last night I had a couple of people over for at glass of wine before we hit my favorite Thursday spot Bardot. Yesterday night was a crazy line-up with the best musicians ever. So cool and inspiring. I love going to concerts in smaller venues because it makes the ‘contact’ with the artist more intense. Here are a couple of shots … I’m wearing lace dress from Object, Chanel purse and vintage jewelry Pics by Thomas Kirkevang & Kristina Korsholm Natasha, Lehang & I working it… Thomas AKA young Elvis

Honesty

Remember when you were a kid and you were just beginning to grasp the meaning of big words like ‘Truth’, ‘Love’, ‘Trust’, ‘Loyalty’ and ‘Honesty’? I do. It was a very innocent and beautiful time. But also a scary and lonely time. Because how can you truly comprehend anything that has to do with the most uncontrollable of human nature. Emotions. When you haven’t been confronted with it’s highs and lows yet. It’s like loving the idea of strawberry ice cream without ever having tasted the homemade version. Or even

Sunday Funday

Sunday-Funday and feeling a little tired and heavy in the bone structure after a Saturday night out as the happy-go-lucky dancing queen. But after some work, a jog and some pool-hanging with downstairs roomie Natasha I was ready to hit Tar Pit at La Brea. The band Vintage Trouble played 2 sets and Petra and I went, if not to get into trouble then, to catch up and listen to some music. Last Sunday during the heatwave I went to the Aids Walk Concert at The Greek Theatre here in

Photo Booth Love

After way to much moving hassle and a very intense acting class in Santa Monica where much stress was released (!) Natasha and I decided to let new apartments be new apartments, drink some wine, play dress up and go dancing. I don’t know if I told you that N moved into the place right under me. It is the perfect set up. We both moved on the same date, but my place is still way messier. I have absolutely no room for all my clothes. So they are still

The last week has been insane. I moved, worked like a mad person and tried to have a life. The having a life part didn’t work out so well. People I’ve met tell me that moving is on the official top 3 of the list of ‘Most stressing situations you can find yourself in’ – right after a divorce that is. I wonder what number 1 is. However, I got to the point where I actually managed to let go of the stress and regarded the moving situation in a

Shakira Shakira

This is a crystal clear example of how a recording artist’s looks will make her song hit the charts. I predict ‘Loca’ is going to go far. Because, what happened to Shakira? Her body looks smoking. I’m totally having what she is eating… or maybe not eating…?!!!? 😉 No, really her belly just made it to my top 3 of bodies today. I think I want to be reincarnated as her abs. Oh and of course her moves. Yes, her moves are sick. Still practicing that move where she isolates

Lara Stone

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling me some Lara Stone tonight. It’s hot as ‘H’ here in LA. 115 Degrees Farenheit and the heat is getting to everyone here. Miss Stone is definitely not the new kid on the block, but nevertheless she is on this month’s cover of French Vogue plus she went almost naked for French Playboy. I don’t want to say that ‘curves never go out of style’ because it sounds like a very boring and cheesy clichée. However, I like the Brigitte Bardot twist

AIDS WALK

Tonight I went to The AIDS Walk Concert at The Greek Theatre in Los Feliz, Hollywood where lots of famous and not so famous bands and artists performed. It was a really fun and chilled event and hold on – The Hansons – yes I said The Hansons (!) performed. Hmmmbop Ha ha…. ! The long locks were gone and two of them had stubbles. Wow! The three teens were (almost) men. The show finished off with a praise to Michael Jackson where Siedah Garret, the woman who wrote ‘Man
