Life

Summer is kicking in hard here in LA, which means that the outdoor scene is super happening as we speak. Anybody who wants to be ‘somebody’ is out mingling behind 500 dollar shades and spf 75. Resort collections are being flashed like nobody’s business on pool decks, patios, rooftops and gardens everywhere from zip code 90036 to 90210. It is LA at it’s best (and worst if you ask New Yorkers) and today yours truly went out to a few events herself to check out the temperature. And Hallelujah! It

Something has got to be in air! The last 2 weeks I have been hit up by 3 different projects that all want to shoot under water. The cool part is, I love to be in and under water. I’m not only a pisces by zodiac sign, but I love anything aqua so I’m all about this new water trend. I told you that I booked a part in a movie about the Mexican/Central American legend La Llorna and we have been shooting long hours. Monday I was on set

In Los Angeles we hardly bitch about the weather like in NYC or in Europe. Right here on the West Coast we bitch about traffic and pretty much take the weather for granted. And why wouldn’t we? Even though the month of June is supposed to be overcast and  ‘June Gloom’ the sky is very blue and everybody is out and about frolicking by the pools or the Pacific Ocean. I’m about to go out and join the fun for a bit and then hit the sack early tonight since

Project Ethos

So on Tuesday I went to Project Ethos here in Hollywood, which is a musical, art, fashion event that promotes emerging talents. I gotta be frank and say I am not too big a fan of the venue Avalon. In my POV it’s an old ‘rave cage’, so to speak, that on a normal night is filled to the brim with very tanned Bridge and Tunnels who are getting trashed and high as kites in too tight clothes. However, this night was very different. The crowd, the ambience, everything and

Girly Day

Hello everyone, just dropping in to wish you all a good day! What I love about my life is the spontaneity of events, travels and work and what I hate about my life is the spontaneity. I’m having a hard time planning far ahead, which is tough for the people close to me, But I LOVE the fact that my life is so diverse and I get to do so many different things. It’s a true adventure. Like, yesterday I tried on brunette and black wigs for my next movie and

New Movie

It’s been a little over a week since I got back from the lush Nicaraguan jungle where the rain season is about to kick in to the Hollywood jungle where power, sex, drugs and money always is alive and kicking. A lot has happened in little time and I guess the most exciting news is that I booked a new feature film. We start shooting this coming week and I get to play the legend of ‘La Llorna’ (The weeping woman). The myth is widespread in Mexico, Central and South

Black Sabbath

Do you like Black Sabbath? I hope so.  I grew up with BS and their dark, sinister yet super energetic take on the world and since my father was a huge fan and my mother too, even though she liked The Stones and The Beatles more. Either way, today I still have my father’s original collection of Black Sabbath albums so it felt just about right when I got the phone call about playing the female lead in this music video of Black Sabbath’s song ”Black Sabbath”… Hope you

LA Life

Many people ask me what life is like in Los Angeles. Well, at times it’s like being a part of Californication. Crazy, naughty, sleepless and self sabotaging. Hank Moody Central. Other times it’s like watching Californication on TV. ‘Watching’ being the key word here. Keeping the naughtiness arms length away while yours truly sit in a lotus pose, towel drying my hair after I’ve shampooed and conditioned with Moroccan Oil still feeling the pangs from my daily class of hot yoga, wearing my black ruffled, over sized Kenzo cotton blouse

My BFFN (Best Friend For Now) my yoga mat 😉 Back in Los Angeles again and I feel like I wake up running. Auditions, meetings, phone meetings, a lot of driving around town and then a few classes of hot yoga thrown in for good measure after waaay to much good food, chips and alcohol in the jungle. My body is aching (in a good way) and my belly is full as I’m sitting here content with a glass of Chardonnay with ice after having devoured an exquisite plate of

Road Trip

It’s Friday morning 7:15 am and the booked bus is pulling up in front of El Tercer Ojo in Managua. 15 friends from all over the world, a priest, his children, a Grand Danoise dog, a pregnant woman, a DJ equipped with speakers, his latest mix, 10 cases of beer, wine and rum are all about to hit the road direction Rio San Juan, Nicaragua. A remote spot deep down in the jungle near the Costa Rican boarder where the fishing is excellent and you can scout birds species never
