Photographia

Today I was booked for a photo shoot with Karla. A super sweet photographer in Pasadena. Initially it was a beauty shoot, but we did a bit of fashion too. I even got to look like Carrie Bradshaw at some point 😉 … Such a good way to prepare for my NYC trip on February 15th. 🙂 These are some ‘behind the scenes’ shots: Carrie 1.. Carrie 2… Drag Queen 1.. Michael Jackson Look-A-Like. Scary Shit!!! Photographer Karla & I after wrap ..and home at last…. As much as I

Had the weirdest day today. Woke up still confused whether the half naked lady on the stage belting out song after song was a dream or reality. Her breasts were dangling and free-wheeling whenever the leopard ‘snuggie’ fell off her shoulders (which it did all the time). Browsing through my pictures on my good old G9 I realized it was not a dream. Reality from last night’s Karaoke at ‘Dimples’ was staring at me in technicolor.. or at least in color. I kid you not! Long, pale breasts swinging wildly

K24

Kitchen24 is the Los Angeles acquivalent of Cafeteria in NYC. It is a young, funky diner with good ambience and open 24 hours. It’s a place where the up and coming music and acting business hang. It has been a while since I saw my good old NYC actor friend Ramon Fernandez so we met for lunch at K24 and caught up. This guy is amazing! He is so productive. Acting, writing, photography. And extremely talented too. ..and he reminds me of New York!!! 🙂 GemGem

I Heart Primo

On Sunset Plaza there are many ‘sceny’ spots to hang. Most of them very Euro trashy and Hollywoody and not places any sensible artist would like to be spotted. However, I shamelessly love the 14 dollar smoothies and the 4.95 dollar lattes at Caffe Primo on Sunset. Their wifi has always great connection and the service is good. What more can you ask for..? Anyways, Today I was meeting my colleague and friend actress Agnese Zeltina. We shot a movie together back in April 2009 and haven’t seen each other

Look du Jour

Yesterday I was going out with some friends to one of my favorite restaurants in town Sur on Robertson Blvd. I Love that place! The food is so good and the interior feels like a little taste of St. Tropez. And did I mention that the hosts and bartenders are hot!!! 🙂 I’m wearing top my Matthew Williamson, leather skirt by Zara, sequin blazer by Object, scarf by Rikkemai.

Beverly Hills Hotel

No place has better service and makes a better salad than The Polo Lounge at Beverly Hills Hotel. If you ever come out to LA make it your business to visit the old Hollywood Style refuge. Seated well lounging in the cozy, dimly lit dining room, with the grand piano playing softly as a back drop it feels like I’m set in a Film Noir yet at my grandmother’s house. So cozy, yet stylish and not pretentious. Good food, great service and old school. Sometimes you just tire of all

Song of the Day

I saw Swedish singer and style icon Lykke Li in concert here in LA at club Bardot last Summer. She was a riot! So friggin’ cool that the badly dressed Hollywood crowd didn’t quite know what to make of her. This song is one of my favorites, but can’t decide, which of the remixes I like better. What do you think? Lykke Li’s ”Little Bit” CSS remix Lykke Li’s ”Little Bit” featuring Drake

Some of you might know that I also blog on the Object Fashion Blog. A blog that I share with 7 other girls from the ‘It-cities’ of the World. London, Copenhagen, NYC, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Berlin, Aarhus and LA. What I really enjoy about this blog is that it’s international and that all my fellow bloggers are so different. I’ve met the girls through previous jobs or they are my good friends or friends of friends. The blog becomes inspiring to me because of the versatility in style, tone and content.

NYC…
