Last night I walked for Breast Cancer Awareness in The Kodak Center here in LA. I walked for fashion designer Shekhar Rahate who has become one of my favorites when it comes to exquisite dresses. I think I might have to wear one of his gowns for the next big Maquerade benefit I’m attending in NYC on October 28th. If he lets me that is ;-). Today we went to the Getty Center to see the ‘Engaged Observers Documentary Photography’ exhibit and ‘In Focus: Still Life’ Exhibit and to browse the garden of course. I love this place and go here quite often. After the museum visit, we hit Santa Monica for a culinary experience beyond normality. The Chinois on Main Street owned by renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. Exquisite, super delicious and quite a scene if you like ‘people watching’. A must do when in this area. After dinner we rushed to watch the show ‘From
I usually never play tourist in my own city and usually I hate doing touristy things like happy-go-lucky amusement parks, standing in endless lines for stupid rides and catching Kodak moments while waving to the camera. But the last couple of days have been different, very touristy and very, very fun. I can recommend it. Universal Studios, The Hollywood Sign, Downtown, Newport, La Jolla, Walk of Fame. You name it.
