Yesterday I shot some new pictures with photographer/designer Emma Sandvik. We pretty much just fooled around down stairs in the house for a couple of hours with her camera while we were listening to Lykke Li. Emma is an amazing photographer! GemGem
I was at a dinner party 3 nights ago with a bunch of NYC actors, who all recently moved out here. One of them told me about a so called Master Cleanse. I’ve heard of the concept before, and also heard that some are lucky to reach a deep spiritual clarity by doing the cleanse. I’ve always been intrigued by it, but being a person who has never fasted or done a detox I didn’t think I could manage not to eat, but to live only on lemonade and water
I know, I know!!! It is NOT trendy neither cool nor sophisticated to sing karaoke. But seriously, you haven’t lived until you have given it your shot at Gloria Gayner’s ‘I will Survive’ at a Karaoke bar. So when I got the invite to come down and make a fool of myself at the LA club VILA last Monday my inner child pulled my right arm and screamed ‘yes-yes-yes OMG how fun it will be. Get out your glitterati eyeshadow and work it girl’. While my more self aware and
Sore back, stressful lifestyle or too many fights with your hubby? Assume your favorite yoga position and find some peace…or find even more agony because you can’t get the poses right. Well, now at least you can feel a little cool when and if you decide to give yoga a shot. Also if you are speculating what to get your sister or BFF for Christmas, this might do the trick. Recently I heard about this new co-friendly, customize-able yoga mats from Yogamatic. Yes, you can design your own mat. Kind
Time for some LA LA FASHION! I found this Danish brand that I’ve embraced into my own style. It’s called Object. Denim-ish and raw, but still with feminine edges. I don’t like when my clothes get too feminine though. It makes me look like a ‘sweet girl next door’. And who wants to be assimilated with her? No-no! Anyways, you can check out the brand on this blog www.objectfashionblog.com. Oh and it’s my very talented designer friend Emma Sandvik, who did the snap shots of me. Thanks Emma 🙂 The
After the most intense experience at the Vipassana Meditation Course I was more or less ready to start working again. First shoot was a couple of pick-up scenes from a movie called Sedona’s Rule, that I shot back in June. It was sooo much fun to work with the crew again. The came down to LA for a the weekend and we spent a day of shooting. Here is a snapshot from one of the scenes.
Yup yup people! It’s the first of November and the Sunday after Halloween. Everybody is sleeping or trying to cope with hangovers while I’m busy bee writing on a treatment for a TV show and prepping to go to an audition for a feature film later today. Nothing glamorous about my life these days …. mostly sitting in my BF’s boxers and a wife beater top writing, sweating (it’s 90 outside), drinking instant coffee and contemplating how crazy it is that I’m going on an Indian Meditation Retreat on Wednesday
Love this song by Thievery Corporation. So sensual, beautiful and …well, the French does something to me… Enjoy!!!
hey guys this is my new reel. My good friend and extremely talented actor Ramon Fernandez cut it for me. He’s a rock star! Hope you like it… 🙂
Last night we took the long and winding road out to Malibu to attend an event the boutique CANVAS held. Apparently it was the owner’s birthday and a beautiful crowd showed up to pay their respects. I was quite surprised to find my old NYC friend and mentor Anton Perich’s work hanging between Y-3 and Ralph Lauren. I had to get a snapshot of the scenario. I love working with Anton and I can’t get enough of his black & whites from the 70’s. … What am I wearing..???? Thought
