Rooftop Love

All the fabulous fashion shows and parties aside; This afternoon on a blessed rooftop in Copenhagen was one of the best moments during fashion week so far. No doubt! And surely a moment I will remember and cherish during the dark and cold nights in LA. Wait a minute. We don’t have cold nights in The Sunshine State ha ha :-). Anyways, It was a beautiful Danish afternoon in beautiful Danish company… Chilling in undies and a tee Loving the late August sun and my new Minx nails from Dollface

Look du Jour

Headed out to the shows and events during Copenhagen Fashion Week. I’m wearing Object princess dress, Vintage leather belt with gold chain, Jimmy Choo handbag, Purple RayBan shades, Object dress denim jacket and Steve Madden sandals

Hi Hi Street

During Fashion week Copenhagen aims to make the city happening by bringing style and fashion into the streets. The idea is to allow people who are not invited to the shows and VIP events to enjoy some of the glam and fun in alternative ways. One way – I guess – is to close one of the main shopping streets, put grass on it, serve beer, play soccer and throw a DJ into the mix. Something you gotta understand about the Vikings: In Danish terms all is good in the

Twins

Watch out – the twins are back in town! By Marie Graunboel They smile! And they have plenty to be happy about. Just returned from Royal College of Art in London, Danish design couple Johanne Kappel and Vibe Lundemark are presenting their first collection and I was invited to the exclusive opening of their promising new label named The Tabernacle Twins. And the talent is blatantly obvious! Every piece was exquisite and entirely original; from the heavy knitted coats in shining colors to the bright transparent chiffon tank tops, I

WOOD WOOD

Worth the wait By Marie Graunboel: The queues were endless and the waiting was close to intolerable. But the successful Danish label Wood Wood didn’t seem to bother with the busy schedule of buyers, fashion reporters and the seemingly endless crows of street kids and skater-boys waiting eagerly to know what to expect in Spring 2011. And then – finally – something happened! Men in white canvas trainers, soaking wet khaki trousers and tight shirts printed with the marks of black lipstick-kisses entered the room leaving grey footprints on the

A small

Wednesday

It’s true! Danish Summer weather is predictable!!! You can always count on rain when outdoors events are happening. Like today – first day of fashion week in Copenhagen. I started out nicely and stress-fully with a ‘beep’ load of emails and phone calls. But not all glamorous regarding fashion week or my movies in Hollywood. No-no. I have gotten myself involved with my father’s conference about artificial life and living technology, which is being held here in Denmark for the first time ever end of August. My father is a

New Looks

Just got some new shots I did with master photographer Max DiBiaggio in NYC. There are many to choose from and I only have them in really low res. But you’ll get the picture of his style from these 3 shots. Max is a genius with light. Truly! And I always love to work with him. We did some video in July as well. Can’t wait to show you the result when he is done with the editing. Also, some of our work will show in an Italian Magazine soon.

Summer Living

I pulled the plug, left Copenhagen and went up north to spend some time with my family and to celebrate my grand father’s 80’s birthday. So this whole weekend has been all about making food, drinking tons of good wine and listening to old stories about ‘back in the days’. I’m actually pretty exhausted by now. How weird? It almost feels like my LA lifestyle is a holiday compared to the NYC and European life I lead …. Also, my family likes to party till last man standing. Often with

The last weeks have been amazing, crazy and even more crazy… I think I’ve changed my traveling plans around 7 or 8 times and I still don’t have my date set for my arrival back in La La Land. What can I say, it’s the best rush ever to live in the moment and follow your heart and desires from hour to hour and sometimes even minute to minute. But it’s also trèeeeees expensive (!) to be this unorganized like moi. When it comes to all the rebookings of flights
