When the going get’s tough, the tough get’s going. That’s how we roll out here in The Wild Wild West. Personally, I dig the whole moccasin, Western look. I’m soooo easily inspired by the natives in this area. The colors, the atmosphere, the crisp clean air, the down to earth and wholesome attitude towards nature and life. It’s profound and indeed very healing… Here are some looks and pics from my New Mexican lifestyle…. The Local News Paper Tumble weeds have always fascinated me… And I have seen so
I looooooove these two looks from the new Celine collection! Even if you are enjoying the easy outdoor-life in New Mexico one can still appreciate the good things in life – Fashion ;-)…
Today I started out by getting pulled over by the local Police in Kingman, Arizona. Damn! Just after getting my morning cup of coffee form the local Safeway supermarket (they have a Starbucks) I made a left turn that apparently ‘swung out’ a tad too wide into the far right lane, which is very very wrong in Kingman (and probably also in all the other cities in The US). However, personally I just think this particular cop was bored out of his mind on this Monday morning and he needed
I’m tripping over this Video and song from VISAGE (1981)…
Arizona has always been one of my favorites states since I was a child. I’m breath taken by the red mountains, the fresh air, the extremely blue sky, the vegetation … t’s like being cast in a Western Movie. After 6,5 hours of driving in my old Bronco I was beat. I had to pull over. Kingman was the nearest town and just in time for the Academy Awards I checked into a local Hampton Inn Hotel and feasted on home baked chocolate chip cookies and white wine on ice.
Jack Nicholson in ‘Easy Rider’ Yup, it’s true… I felt it coming for a while. It’s about time that I put on my cowboy hat (it’s Marc Jacobs and not Stetson, but hey it’s the new decade so who cares right..?), throw my suede chaps in the trunk and get on the road. It’s time that me and my good oll’ Ford Bronco spend some alone time together burning some rubber. Who cares that she has run over 180.000 miles and makes weird jitters and noises around 45 mph. She’s
What’s the new Soho House in LA like people want to know. Well, if you take the best view ever spotted in LA, pair it with a London-ish smooth and polite yet quite to the point and dry witted style you have an idea. Still not quite getting it? OK, then imagine this: 12 suit clad garcons greet you in the Valet parking while 5 London ladies make sure you are on the list before you get escorted up the elevator to the penthouse (sorry, can’t remember the exact floor).
Thursday Casual goes Charteau Marmont. Once a week I’m meeting up with my girl ‘T’ to discuss life and such. We have established our legendary Pinot Grigio Club where we eat the best lunches and taste the best grapes. The last couple of weeks we have met in the garden at the Charteau. I’m wearing: Object vest, papfar top, April 77 Jeans, Nialaya jewelry
”..Serendipity is the effect by which one accidentally stumbles upon something fortunate, especially while looking for something entirely unrelated..” I know I’m pushing the idea that you should follow your heart and be passionate in everything you do…. But sometimes it makes sense to do absolutely nothing, but to cobble out and release…… Maybe even take the back seat for a while and see how it feels. Maybe new possibilities arise or you learn to enjoy the process and coincidences of everyday life more than the goal itself. Maybe that’s
How sick is this video?? I’m totally hooked. Looooove the sound and look. They are called St. John’s Dance.
