Yesterday the sun was out and I had the perfect chill day with my girls going from sundeck to sundeck …. just enjoying a true ‘NYC Sunday Funday’.. I have been a very very lucky girl to have the opportunity to celebrate my birthday every night since I arrived in NYC. That’s 4 nights so far (!) And every night there has been songs and cake. 🙂 This particular night was on the 19th on my real birthday and I was at La Esquina with my girls. La Esquina can be a little ‘dude-ish’, but I love the food there and it’s just such a classic NYC spot to visit. Later we made it happen at Boom Boom
I’m all about freedom within speech, religion, love and fashion. And that’s the beauty of being right here smack in the middle of the NYC melting pot. It’s a human ZOO and you gotta love the fact that people do their thing without worrying about who, what and when. So, power to the people! Fashion or not. I’m still head over high heels with this city… 😉
It is insane how at home I feel in NYC… Seriously!!! Spring has sprung and NYC is inviting and irresistible…. The temperature at night is almost the same as during the day and you feel so happy walking around in the streets taking in the look, smell and vibe from the East Coast concrete jungle. It’s my bday and we woke up pretty late :-). I spoke to my family most of the morning before we tumbled down the stairs and into the street where the sun was out celebrating a very blue sky… Wow, what a gorgeous day!!! Yesterday I had the best day… First, I went uptown to Mario Badescu to get a quick facial. It’s an OK place to visit if you are on a budget and just feel like a quick pick-up. They do the job and always give you tons of tester products after a session. Plus this is the first Spa I’ve ever been to where they serve milk chocolates in the lobby…. mmmhhhh 🙂 Later I went to dinner at Cipriani’s Downtown with my manager Nadja, her boyfriend and a record label
