I’m loving this song a lot these days….. I guess I’m in between moods. Again. It always happens when I travel a lot. I Just left Ibiza yesterday, being here with my loving family in Copenhagen tonight and getting ready to leave for NYC tomorrow night. I miss something – sometimes. But I’m not exactly sure what it is. Like an undefined sensation of longing, yet feeling very much grounded and in my body and happy with this situation of absolute imperfection. This song makes me contemplate, dream and feel
Leaving Ibiza was hard. Period. Could definitely have used a couple of days more on the beautiful island. But work calls. So I’m Copenhagen bound as we speak. But luckily we had the whole day at The Blue Marlin chilling on sun beds and doing the infamous long lunch before we took it directly to the airport. I’m still wearing my bikini under my tunic and I have sand in unspeakable areas. Right now, I’m stuck in Las Palmas waiting for my connecting flight to Scandi Candy land. A fog
It’s my last night here in Ibiza and I’m devastated. I could stay here at least one month. This island is addicting. The sea, the people, the restaurants, the clubs and chilled ambience is right up my alley. I’m staying here with an amazing crowd from all over the world. The last couple of days have been an abundance of top dinners, fun parties, clubs, long lunches, boat trips and some work. What I love about the time we live in now is, that it’s possible to do these trips
What can I say…. The most amazing day in the most amazing company. Breakfast, lunch, swimming, lounging, massage, working a bit and making new friends….. And dinner is served in one hour where after Pacha awaits. Yes, we need one night at the infamous club to show David Guetta some love. No doubt. I have not so much to say today…. I want to go down and change before people arrive at the house for the dinner party. More tomorrow. here is a glimpse of the chilled Ibiza lifestyle when
Going to Ibiza for a bit and as usual I’m in a rush when packing and I haven’t got the faintest idea what I brought here. Why am I this unorganized? And why does it surprise me every time that I’m unorganized…? But it’s Ibiza and as long as you like the beach, rosé, music, tattoos and long lunches in Formentera I guess you’ll be fine. I’m here to hang with a beautiful bunch of friends from NYC who have a house here. And it’s the most insanely amazing spot.
Even though I do not have an education from La Mer or La Prairie. I’m not even a beauty school drop out. But by birth I am given the most annoyingly sensitive skin and system, that gets affected by anything and everything. Food, stress, work conditions, weather. You name it. So I’m very alert to every little detail and change within, on and around me. This might not make me a beauty expert on paper. But I know damn well if a creme works after you have been on a
Fashion week is upon us and despite rain or shine the shows most go on. Which they did……This August was crazily wet and made it really ‘interesting’ to get around town. The usual easy and laid-back bike ride from show to show was just not happening this season. And the way to fashion designer Stine Goya’s show was no different. Monsoon rain was hammering down outside while we were audience to the most beautiful and intimate scenography created by Oliver Gustav. The make up was beautiful and simple and the
Copenhagen Fashion Week is over and most people from the industry are completely fashioned out after a 4 days of parties, shows, reviews, champagne and 6 inches heels. So Sunday was spent wisely behind closed doors licking the open wounds and looking for recuperation and healing powers at the local pizza joint. I had a fabulous fashion week where I got to see some of my old and dear friends that I don’t see on a daily basis. I still have tons of pictures from the week that I will
Just sharing a couple of shots from the other night where ‘The Board of Blondes’ held an utmost important meeting at restaurant MASH in Copenhagen, where after we took it to Gallery Asbaek and topped it off with a visit to Simon’s. I daresay that super urgent matters were discussed and resolved that night. Period. But that is what happens when blondes with ambitions get together and share perspective… Fashion: American Apparel & Jimmy Choo / Nails: Minx from Dollface & Silkyway Jill & I Miss T & Miss A
Rumble in the jungle By Marie Graunboel The sound of birds singing followed by an energetic drumbeat echoed in the majestic halls of Copenhagen City Hall when Swedish Minimarket invited us on an African safari (guided trip to the jungle included). The three sisters Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elvestedt behind Minimarket were going for the trans-global vibe presenting a collection revolving around dusty orange and bright blues mixed with simple ethnic prints and an awful lot of black! A departure from previous season’s experiments with shapes and fabrics, this time
