OK, so a while back my manager introduced me to these two girls. They are both from The Netherlands, cool no-nonsense sisters and very fun to be around. We had drinks at BOA one night and then for reasons that I do not recall today we winded up on a road trip to Vegas together. Just arrived into San Salvador airport awaiting my connection to Guatemala City I checked my phone and found that I was booked for a shoot the day after my arrival in LA. My phone and internet had been on and off during my stay in Honduras and it was kind of weird to feel civilization creeping up on me the further North I traveled. Even in grand moments when the sun, the moon, the temperature, your sun-kissed skin, your accessories and the almost perfect lunch matches a very good Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand I find myself in a state of a mental ‘no man’s land’.
