Today I started out by getting pulled over by the local Police in Kingman, Arizona. Damn! Just after getting my morning cup of coffee form the local Safeway supermarket (they have a Starbucks) I made a left turn that apparently ‘swung out’ a tad too wide into the far right lane, which is very very wrong in Kingman (and probably also in all the other cities in The US). Arizona has always been one of my favorites states since I was a child. I’m breath taken by the red mountains, the fresh air, the extremely blue sky, the vegetation … t’s like being cast in a Western Movie. After 6,5 hours of driving in my old Bronco I was beat. I had to pull over. Kingman was the nearest town and just in time for the Academy Awards I checked into a local Hampton Inn Hotel and feasted on home baked chocolate chip cookies and white wine on ice.
