Yesterday I woke up to the most amazing experience; Spring time in New York City! It does not get much better than that. The New Yorkers flock into the streets and there is a fantastic vibe of positivity and curiousity. I’m staying here with my two girls Christel and Giada in a flat in The West Village. It is like being a part of a Euro Sorority House for artists. I love it 🙂 Here are a couple of pics from my day… Ready for a day out in the city….
On Friday the 19th it’ s my birthday. yaaaayyy!!!! 🙂 Here are a couple of things that I dream about…. Strappy Sandals from FENDI Platforms from Yves Saint Laurent
I promised not to talk more about cars. And I’m a girl that stick to her word… So… here are the pictures of my arrival in LA after 3 Bronco break downs in the Mojave Desert (yes it broke down again this morning. I can’t believe it!!!!!! Ok, it’s official! This blog has begun to sound more and more like a car blog. Frankly, I’ve had it with the car talk. Especially when the car keeps braking down on me and is costing me one pair of Pierre Hardy heels after the other. So I promise, from tomorrow there will be no more car-talk. We will move on to way more important subjects. However, this day has been one crazy day because of my car. A little after 2 pm heavy smoke filled the cabin of the
Yesterday when I took off – direction Los Angeles – wearing a big smile, looking a little more tan and probably way more relaxed than when I arrived in New Mexico, troubles started to invade my personal trucker paradise… ‘Check Engine’ … weird noises … and no ‘pull’ when I pressed the gas pedal…hmmmmm…. NOT good!!! And of course in the middle of absolutely no where in the New Mexican desert. I pulled into some small village called Grants in New Mexico and was extremely lucky to find a repair
Friday night is Gallery Hopping Night in Down Town Santa Fe. Here I am in front of Zane Bennett Gallery. Mary Schaffer 16,800 USD Jose Manuel Broto 1,700 USD And then onwards into the blue blue night….
You know those nights when you toss and turn without a minutes rest? The morning after it feels like you’ve got run over by a bus… Luckily I have discovered the perfect cure: Ojo Caliente! A beautiful outdoor spa in New Mexico in the small town of Ojo Caliente. Here, hot rejuvenating mineral water spring form the mountains and into outdoor pools. One is with Arsenic (!), One is with iron, one is with soda and so forth. I spent a whole day there resting in the warm water gazing
Last night Yenny and I went out to test the local waters at a club called Corazon in Down Town Santa Fe. It was fun to see a completely different scene that what I’m used to in LA, NYC or Europe. It was a riot! 2 bands performed and made the roof come off while the locals drank Budweisers, Margaritas and partied like there was no tomorrow. Here are a bunch of snap shots: I’m wearing my loved Object Coat and my Balenciaga Bag Disco disco baby! Y & I
This morning I went Spa-style to the local swimming pool and did laps. Wow that felt good. I think I need a pool in my next house ;-)… Later I went Down Town in Santa Fe to enjoy the atmosphere, look at the locals, buy over-expensive stuff in tourist traps and just hang out. Here are a couple of pics from my day… Snow melting in the sun… Adobe buildings as long as you can see… Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi… My Target boots, Object jeans and my
This a photo my friend and super talented photographer Max Di Biaggio shot of me a quiet Friday evening the last day of fashion week in NYC. We had just been to a Puerto Rician surprise birthday party with karaoke and the whole lot… hahaha 🙂 And then we went to Max’ studio and played around. He is truly a master with light..
