Just arrived into San Salvador airport awaiting my connection to Guatemala City I checked my phone and found that I was booked for a shoot the day after my arrival in LA. My phone and internet had been on and off during my stay in Honduras and it was kind of weird to feel civilization creeping up on me the further North I traveled.
But it is business as usual in Korsholm Ville: I never have to much time to get adjusted to my environment. This time around my home: LA, and the city’s waaay colder temperatures than those of The Caribbeans. The lack of happy go lucky, sexy reggae music, the beautiful turquoise water, freshly grilled snapper for dinner or the cocktails made by Carlos AKA the bartender with eyebrows shaped to a level of perfection so even J.LO. would melt green with envy.
I only had a minute to empty my Louis bag, do some GTL (minus the T because LA is freeeezing these days. Yes, it was friggin’ snowing in the hills last night!!!! And yes: G: Gym, T: Tanning, L:Laundry). And then head out to my shoot at The Mondrian Hotel on Sunset.
Hollywood is like a war zone today because of the Academy Awards so I threw a little pitty party for myself and my Bronco as we snailed our way to and from the shoot….
Here are a couple of snaps with my G12.
When I get the photos I will share them right here. Stay tuned!
Oh – and PS: I didn’t forget to close my fly, but the photographer wanted my D&G shorts open for the shoot. Just putting it out there in case you were wondering…
Photos from The Grammys of Rock Star Pete & I. No secret: We are gonna work together on some tracks in the future. Will keep you posted.

Even in grand moments when the sun, the moon, the temperature, your sun-kissed skin, your accessories and the almost perfect lunch matches a very good Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand I find myself in a state of a mental ‘no man’s land’. I’m talking about sitting in the airport lounge in a foreign country (this time being – Guatemala – a country that I would love to explore at some point) and regrouping about where you came from and where you are headed…. Feeling a bit lost and rootless yet curious and hungry for more… But… I guess it comes with the territory…? And really – I’m not complaining. Just sharing thoughts on this …. yeah.. Well what day is today? I lost track of time while in Honduras. That lifestyle was so laid back you have no idea. And I had no phone reception. However, I know that I get into LAX very late tonight and Saturday is all about GTL and Sunday I was supposed to go to The Academy Awards, but now I booked a job that day. So my first days in LA are pretty much mapped out.
However, after having devoured a pretty good Chicken Caesar Salad here in Guatemala City where I’m spending some hours before I head home to LA I can get a little – if not sentimental – then grateful and happy about how many things I get to see and how many cultures, languages and people I get to know. Next time I fly down this way I want to be, if not fluent then almost fluent in Spanish.
One confession: I did not shop anything out in the islands. But here in there airports I splurged a little. I treated myself to my favorite fragrance Chanel Fraiche, the hydrating and firming face serum from La Prairie and 2 amazingly colorful scarves made out of Guatemalan wool…. How can a girl resist…? Just saying.
Anyways, Here are a couple of shots from a happy and ‘pink’ afternoon on Roatan, Honduras….
I had an early call time this Sunday morning to catch the boat to ‘Cayos Cochinas’. I like my mornings nice, easy and most importantly slow. I have a hard time snapping out of my dreams easily. I need some time on my hands to get back into reality before I meet and greet the world. This Sunday morning was a bit stressful, but turned out to be totally worth it. After 45 minutes of sailing my eyes were met with whole colonies of tiny little uninhabited islands beautifully sprinkled over this quaint part of the Caribbean Ocean located between Honduras main land and the island of Roatan. We are talking paradise islands with only white sandbanks and a couple of palm trees, some wildlife and nothing but blue sky and turquoise water caressing the white powder sugar sand.
Yes, aside from the work this day has taken Sunday Funday to a whole new level. I kid you not! Now, I’m sitting here at the resort chilling with chocolate chip cookies, wine and coffee and relaxing after dinner. Tomorrow awaits with a new, fresh day so I better hit the sheets soon.
Here is some footage from a long day under the Caribbean sun….
We had our own little Island to our selves for today’s shoot. Welcome to ‘Cayos Cochinas’. I could get used to this view…. Just saying….

One of the many little islands we passed… True bliss on Earth.
In between takes I had time for a dip and some downtime with my G12
Practicing the art of fishing at a very young age.
Little sister to big brother: ‘Why are you crying? You want some of my pastry?”
‘Come on! take it! I had enough of your whining’
‘Seriously! Eat or ….!’
‘…..OMG boys! I will never get them…’
‘OK, have it your way! I munched it myself. And it was yummy. Duh!!’
Oh Hiiii. This is Mason. And I’m in love!!!
Look at those eyes and the hair is priceless … Go home Beckham. Mason is such a heart breaker!
The beauty of the island
It’s lunch time and we are approaching one of the bigger islands of ‘Cayos Cochinas’, which is inhabited and has 2 restaurants / or kitchens were you can get lobster, snapper or fish soup. The shopping bag is mine from Copenhagen. I thought it was a funny contrast to the Caribbean environment.
Big smiles headed home to Roatan after a long day under the sun.
… and yes, beer was involved. I’m a viking/gypsy. Remember!
Today I had a close encounter with the largest crab I have ever seen. And that is a huge statement from a girl who grew up on the North coast of Sealand, Denmark. Every Summer was spent with my little net trying to catch fish, shell fish or crabs and make improvised aquariums where the creatures of the sea could live and nest. At least that was the plan. Most of the times, the creatures died on me or stalled and I fĂgured they missed their families in the Ocean. So I always let them out very fast. Dead or alive.
Later on, I was permitted to use my fathers old, mint green fishing pole. Huge deal!!! So whenever we would go sailing on the family boat (which was often) I would buddy up with my newly acquired long, slender friend and try to catch dinner for the family. Not too successful on that account either, but I was very enthusiastic about the sport and the love for the ocean has stuck with me now and forever.
That is why I was extremely excited when I heard that scuba diving is big here in Honduras. I’m a certified diver since many years, so I figured it would be a walk in the park to get a dive or two right away. But I was wrong; even here in friggin’ Honduras where you would think no rules apply, PADI demands that if it has been over a year since you did your last dive, you must take a so-called ‘refreshener’ before you get wet. Hmm! I was pissed about having to go back into school. Diving is like riding a bike. You never forget. However, it was actually pretty cool to get into it again before being weightless 65 feet under water where Dragon fish, turtles, sharks and sting rays circle you like nobody’s business. And here, exactly 63 feet under water I was face to face with the biggest crab I have ever seen. His claws were way way bigger than my hands. Pretty intense.
Sorry about this sudden diving log book. I know; I’m such a nerd! But I cannot help it. Diving and the ocean is a big passion of mine and since I had a blast today I felt like sharing.
Later we crashed at the pool, popped some champagne and chilled until dinner. (Another passion of mine – just saying ..). Tomorrow work calls again. We are shooting in a location called ‘Cayos Cochinos’ (Islands of the pigs). A place where a certain breed of huge pigs were cultivated … (?????) … More about that another day. Now I’m off to bed.
Here are some snaps from the last 2 days…

Don’t you hate it when the photographer is hotter than the models …?
KK back in school studying the diving board before this morning’s dive. Bored? Naaaah…
Dinner at Blue Malin (Not Ibiza Blue Malin ..). Tired, full and so ready for bed.
I woke up a couple of times during the night to the sound of hard rain against the roof. Funny, Because at dinner last night the full moon was beaming blue and white over the palm trees from a clear midnight blue sky. But weather changes are random and can come out of nowhere here in Honduras. Now it’s dawn and the sun is rising all while exotic birds sing to an orange and baby blue morning sky.
I love sunrise. It’s my favorite time of the day. A fresh new beginning of everything. The smell of flowers, soil and the ocean. Life is beautiful and I feel blessed to be right here experiencing this moment in time.
I have a good feeling about today and hope You feel the same way….
With Love from Honduras

Here are a little more Hondura photos… not from Sunrise though
Cold beer anyone?

A little different than my laundry facilities in LA
This sight killed me! A bunny made out of little towels placed on the bed of the suite. How cute is that? Love it!!!
I wanna be reincarnated as Vanessa Paradis! There. I said it! Now the universe should take care of the rest he he …. Just kidding, but still there is definitely some truth to it. I’m a big fan of VP.
Sunday Funday was spent enjoying The Grammys and the after parties in LA. Monday – Valentines Day was spent regrouping, working and packing because I had a red-eye flight to Honduras via San Salvador.
I arrived yesterday morning rather exhausted after almost no sleep to the island of Roatan, Honduras. A true paradise on Earth. I’m spending the next 9 days here shooting bikinis, but luckily the schedule allows time to relax a bit, scuba dive and explore the jungle and beaches as well. No complaints
Here are a couple of shots so far. Will keep you posted as we proceed. Also, will put up some pics from the Grammys when I get them from the photographers. So stay tuned.
Much love, sunshine and smiles from the Islands…. xxKK

Just arrived and sooooo tired, but happy. Look? ‘Harlem’ hair-do, bling/gangsta shades, cashmere scarf, yallah tunic top and Louis Vuitton bikini. All in the mix baby!
-I beg for forgiveness for what I’m getting myself into right now, but sitting here on my red-eye flight, Hondouras bound, bored out of my mind, tired without Wifi or any alcohol, my fingers just started typing. Out of control. Yes, I know. Sorry. But here we go:
Question:
Why is it, that when a woman finally gives herself over to a man and goes beyond 1st. base with him, she 9 out of 10 times feels more connected to him while the complete opposite situation is happening for the man? I mean, we are researching cancer, rocket science and trying to find the cure for AIDS. What about spending a little time figuring out what the difference is between male and female (the obvious aside)? I know, this might be a teenage observation and I should know better. However, it is a subject that fascinates me over and over again and makes me – and most other people getting our ‘player game’ on.
Here is the deal:
He will pursue you for a long time. and finally, when you give in and give him a piece of the apple pie, he doesn’t give a ‘beep’ anymore. I guess it must have to do with the hunter in every man. Chase the pray, hit it, and then run. Or rather leave it bleeding in the field for the dogs and birds to feast on.
For females it’s different. Unless, of course we are just fooling around. I will always make him work for it if I think this might be a man that I could potentially really like. Someone I would like to know better. However, I’m not really sure how you can tell the difference between the ‘fun-just-fooling-around-with-guy’ and the ‘wow-I-wanna-have-your-children-guy’ except It must be the ‘je nest sais qoui’ that elevates one from the other. EIther way, I’m still in a funk about by how the random meeting with the, in your diluted universe, perfect male, can change your life in a shot and break your heart like nobody’s business.
You know what I am talking about: The facebook stalking, the googling, the hanging around his neighborhood hoping to casually bump into him in your die-hard just purchased on credit outfit. Checking your phone and making sure you look stunning 24/7. Why does he not call? Let me rephrase that: why does he not bbm or text after the most amazing night in history? Seriously, how can he refrain? Well, get your shit together bitch: You are trying way to hard. For him the excitement vaporized the moment you let him hit that. Unless a man is mature and ready to find a partner on his own time he will never, and let me emphasize that , NEVER settle. He might be 25, he might be 55. You will only be a deflowered rose on his path of many roses.
So what to do? Who wants to plan who they fall for? Match.com or E-Harmony anyone? I mean, I’ve met a lot of husband material out there (not online – had to put that in there) and even almost considered tying the knot one time (Thanks God I didn’t!). But looking good on paper does not mate make in my world. I will not settle for less than fireworks. And fireworks don’t live on my block these days.
I see plenty of people settling without really being happy. It’s painful to watch. I don’t get it. Yes, you might share a lot of history together, but remember that you have to focus on the future and not what is behind you. And ‘comfortable’ is just as unattractive and ‘yawn’ as ‘good on paper’.
Anyways, if anybody out there has some answers, or fireworks for that matter, please share. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is wondering about Venus and Mars on a regular basis.
I’m exhausted. You too? Was supposed to go out, but I think I’m staying under the radar tonight. I just made some Moroccan Mint Tea with soy milk, poured myself a glass of Chardonnay on ice and is about to watch a screener of a feature film directed by Leonardo Corbucci, the Italian director, I worked with today. We shot a beauty commercial together here in LA today. And for once I had a somewhat late call time (11 AM). Usually it’s 6 AM or 8 AM. And I love sleeping in whenever I get a chance. However, the late calltime didn’t help me much, because I had phone meetings already from 8 am with NYC. So no sleeping in today.
Ok, I’m signing out now people. Here are some shots from today’s work. Hope you like it…
